The MMRMA Administrative Advisory Committee is made up of nine member employees who work in the areas of human resources, zoning and land use, and emergency management. Meeting every six weeks, this committee monitors and reviews employment law, current zoning issues, and any pending legislation that relates to personnel and zoning concerns. The committee determines the best means of informing MMRMA members of any pertinent updates and develops resources to assist members with policy-based decisions.
The committee has produced several resources that assist MMRMA members in making informed, responsible decisions in keeping with established risk management practices. These include two DVDs, "
Are You Prepared" and "
The Danger Zones of Zoning," several publications outlining model policies and procedures, and other brochures with human resource and municipal applications, such as FOIA Coordinator Handbook, Employer Recordkeeping and Guidelines For Disclosure, and Open Meetings Act.
