Risk Manager Boyd Smith Retires

Posted: Tuesday, February 11, 2014

MMRMA Risk Manager Boyd Smith has retired. Boyd joined the staff in 2003 to handle marketing, risk management, and membership services for 40 MMRMA members formerly serviced by Don Althoff.

"Boyd has done excellent work over the years," says Executive Director Michael Rhyner. "He has delivered quality service to existing members and added new members to the program."

Boyd has a long history with MMRMA. Prior to joining our staff, he served as a Regional Risk Manager through Comerica Insurance and the Fairlane Agency.

Boyd and his wife Linda plan to move to their retirement home on Black Lake near Cheboygan and spend winters in Florida. Boyd looks forward to improving his fishing and golf skills.

Please join the MMRMA team in wishing Boyd a happy, healthy retirement!
