MMRMA Publishes FAQ on Recreational Use of Marijuana

Posted: Tuesday, September 10, 2019

The Administrative Risk Control Advisory Committee recently published a new brochure titled Recreational Use of Marijuana: Frequently Asked Questions.

This new brochure provides answers to many questions members may have about the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act (MRTMA), which went into effect December 6, 2018, legalizing recreational marijuana. The FAQ includes information about what MRTMA permits, what it prohibits, and what public entity employers need to know.

Member employees with an MMRMA.org user account can log in and retrieve the document on the Members Only page under Model Policies and Procedure Brochures in the Administrative folder.

If you have questions about this document or need further risk control assistance, please contact MMRMA's Membership Services department.
