MMRMA Hires New Risk Manager Liz Droppers
MMRMA is pleased to announce the addition of Liz Droppers to the MMRMA staff. Liz joined MMRMA in December 2019 in the role of in-house Risk Manager.
Liz has over twelve years’ experience managing a public sector niche sales and risk management team and working with public sector self-insured risk. She is very familiar with public entities and her past clients include cities, counties and public school districts. Liz earned a Bachelor’s of science degree in marketing from Indiana University.

MMRMA Adds Two New Employees to Claims and Legal Services Team
On January 6, Narrinder Phalore joined the Claims and Legal Services Department as a Senior Claims Adjuster. Narrinder has extensive experience in the insurance industry adjusting claims. She has also worked as a claims manager and a project manager. Narrinder is experienced in managing complex litigated claims, establishing departmental procedures and claims handling guidelines, and providing oversight of third party administrators. She has also been involved in implementation of electronic document management systems and is experienced in IT Agile Methods. Narrinder will replace Gloria Winfrey, whose retirement takes effect January 31, 2020.
Narrinder has a Juris Doctorate from the Detroit College of Law and is a licensed independent adjuster in Michigan and in 19 other states.
Brittney Childress joined MMRMA as a Claims Adjuster on January 13. Since 2013, Brittney has worked in various positions managing and resolving claims. She has experience evaluating, investigating, and negotiating claims settlements related to auto claims, ranging from moderate to complex claims. Brittney has also been involved in handling product liability claims throughout the United States. Most recently, Brittney worked as a recovery specialist dealing with claimants, customers, attorneys, and others in handling claims from filing to closure, in concert with coverage and policy limits and claims best practices.
Brittney possesses an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Baker College and has a Michigan Independent Adjuster’s license.
