MMRMA Announces Underwriting Staff Promotions

MMRMA is pleased to announce the promotions of three members of our Underwriting Staff. Effective March 1, 2020, they will assume their new titles and roles.

Kelly Elmore's promotion from Underwriter to Senior Underwriter builds on her 10+ year career at MMRMA. Kelly joined the staff in 2009 as receptionist, and has undertaken tasks of increasing responsibility, including serving on the Coverage Document Committee and participating in the study and creation of new services and products. In her new role, Kelly remains committed to the excellence of MMRMA and its services to members. 

Melanie Roose's promotion from Underwriting Assistant to Associate Underwriter will see a continued evolution of her responsibilities at MMRMA. She began working here as receptionist in 2010. Since subsequently joining the Underwriting team, Melanie has been increasingly involved in its processes, becoming the in-house specialist on county tax bonds. She is very excited to continue her MMRMA career in this new and expanded role.

Lauren Houston's promotion from Administrative Assistant to Underwriting Assistant builds on her hard work and dedication to MMRMA.  Lauren joined the staff as receptionist in 2014 and moved into Underwriting the following year. She looks forward to her new position and the continued opportunity to grow professionally while serving the MMRMA membership.
