MMRMA Updates Water/Beach Safety, Community Property Rental/Use Resources

Posted: Tuesday, August 25, 2020

The Parks and Recreation Risk Control Advisory Committee recently reviewed and updated two model policies: Water/Beach Safety: Guidelines and Community Property Rental/Use: Model Guidelines.

These updated resources reflect the continued value of their content. They are intended to help MMRMA members protect citizens and reduce risks when managing water and beach areas and facilitating the rental and use of community properties.

Member employees with an user account can log in and retrieve the documents on the Members Only page under Model Policies and Procedure Brochures in the Parks and Recreation folder.

Note: These resources and our other general model policy/procedure documents do not include information about pandemics. Please contact MMRMA’s Membership Services department for guidance on relevant COVID-19/pandemic protocols and practices.  Members can also consult our coronavirus webpage for resources and updates about the pandemic.

If you have questions about this document or need further risk control assistance, please contact MMRMA's Membership Services department. Thank you!
