MMRMA Publishes Guidelines on Critical Incident Debriefing Process

Posted: Tuesday, November 17, 2020

The Fire and EMS Risk Control Advisory Committee and Lower and Upper Peninsula Law Enforcement Risk Control Advisory Committees reviewed a previous MMRMA brochure on critical incident debriefing and helped develop an updated version.

The new resource, Critical Incident Debriefing Guidelines and Model Policy, is intended to help members develop policies and procedures to assist first responders and public safety personnel coping with stress and trauma in the aftermath of critical incidents.

Member employees with an MMRMA.org user account can log in and retrieve the document on the Members Only page under Model Policies and Procedure Brochures in the Fire and EMS folder.

If you have questions about this document or need further risk control assistance, please contact MMRMA's Membership Services department.
