Risk Management of Special Events Handbook Receives First Place PRIMA Award

Posted: Tuesday, June 21, 2011

At the national PRIMA conference earlier this month, Director of Risk Management Chuck Schwab accepted PRIMA's first place award in the Pooling category for MMRMA's Risk Management of Special Events Handbook. The manual provides detailed guidelines for the safe, successful execution of special events of all sizes and types in member communities, and represents an extraordinary team effort. More details will follow in the next issue of MMRMA's Risk Journal.

Congratulations to the Risk Management team, The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, and Risk Control Consultant Terry Van Doren for this outstanding achievement.

A PDF of the Risk Management of Special Events Handbook can be downloaded by registered users of MMRMA's website. Just log into the Members Only section, click to expand the Model Policies and Procedure Brochures folder, then browse under the Parks and Recreation section.
