MMRMA has nine risk control advisory committees. Created as a way to assist members in reducing their potential exposure to losses, each committee is comprised of member employees who work in related areas of municipal government. Liaisons from MMRMA's risk management and claims departments also participate on each committee.
This innovative arrangement allows MMRMA to tap its members' extensive knowledge and experience to benefit the membership as a whole. Member participants work closely with risk control consultants and claims adjusters to help develop training courses, policy and procedure documents, and other signature elements of MMRMA's risk management program.
Together, these risk control advisory committees help shape MMRMA's direction and ensure that we continually provide outstanding services to our members.
